Crestview's New Communication Tool

I recently signed our youth group up for a new service called YapTap.  This new communication tool will allow our students, parents, volunteers, and church members the ability to receive short updates via text, email, facebook, or mobile apps.  The best part is you get to choose how you receive the updates!  

YapTap also allows me to place you into various groups and invite you to join upcoming events.  For example, everyone is placed in the group called "Prayer Notifications" and I will use this to update you on our prayer request needs.  Don't worry, I will not be sending out a ton of updates in case that thought came to your mind.  

I am still learning how YapTap works, so please let me know if you have any problems.  Be sure to invite anyone who wants to get our updates! 

First Super Sunday

Yesterday we had our first Super Sunday and it was awesome!  After our morning services, we ate lunch, watched Courageous, played some games, and then watched the Super Bowl with the rest of the church.  During halftime, the youth praise team did an incredible job of leading worship and sure beat any performance we didn't need to see.  

And if you are wondering what is going on in the first couple of pictures, that is pretty typical of what happens when my youth get to just hang out.  They play Temple Run, Scramble With Friends, check their Facebook, etc.  Welcome to the connected generation!
